John Schreiner passed away peacefully in his home surrounded with love and his entire family at the age of 77 on Nov. 21 in Kingman, Arizona.
John is survived by his wife; Karen, their children; Cliff, Jesse, and Karri (Steven), his grandchildren; Bailey (Cody), Jonah, Brice, Jordyn, Morgen, and Katelynn, his great-grandchildren; Rylee, Paisley, and Lane, and his sister; Lee of Hyannis, Massachusetts.
John was born Nov. 16, 1941 in Paris to Andrew and Thelma. John and his twin brother, Jess, were the youngest of 12 siblings. He was the seventh of eight sons and four daughters.
John grew up working on farms in Colorado with his parents and siblings. He married Karen, on Nov. 28, 1970 in Ash Fork, Arizona. John and Karen moved to Kingman in the summer of 1980. John was an owner operator truck driver and lead driver for Pilot in Kingman for many years.
John was an avid fisherman, golfer, and gardener. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a generous individual who loved sharing the bounty from his garden and making candy around the holidays to share with family and friends. John was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 at The Elks Lodge, where he was a lifetime member.
