In response to Gavin Douglas’ letter of Nov. 1, you have been misinformed. Evolution has not been a “theory” for many years (50?)

Letter | Councilmember complains about signs

Council Member Travis Lingenfelter filed a formal complaint with the City of Kingman disputing my claim of spending less than $1,000 for political signage, for the purpose of falling below the campaign finance reporting threshold and the requirement to properly register as a legal political action committee within the state of Arizona.

Thank you | Dave for returning KALP’s sign

Recently I happily encountered one of Kingman‘s finest citizens. I received a call from a gentleman by the name of Dave who reported finding, on the road, a magnetic car sign advertising KALP, the Kingman Area Literacy Program.

I am John Hansen, a local businessman and very involved in shepherding the growth of our community. I have called Kingman home for 15 years.

Letter | Time for the middle to rise up

Politicians in Washington can’t seem to agree on anything these days, except to oppose anything the other side puts forth. This is not a sustainable way to run a country. The vocal extremes continue to sew animosity and division.

Tease photo

Letter | Vote for the issues

Letter | Vote ‘no’ on Prop. 127

It concerns me to know that the passage of Proposition 127 would cause Arizona’s energy cost to nearly double. I am disabled due to epilepsy and I don’t have an income. We survive on Social Security and VA compensation, so we would not be able to pay a higher energy bill.
