MCC nursing grads are now RNs

Over 95 percent of Mohave Community College nursing graduates who took their state examination in May or June passed the exam on first try. The state mandates that nursing schools achieve a 75 percent pass rate.Linda Riesdorph, the associate dean of instruction and former director of nursing programs for MCC said, "The outstanding pass rate is the result of the college's dedicated efforts to continually improve the quality of nursing education it provides."In the past year, MCC has added new nurse training facilities in Kingman, Lake Havasu City and at the North Mohave campus in Colorado City - all thanks to generous community partners.
