Calvin Jay Benson Sr. passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at his residence in Peach Springs at the age of 67. Calvin was born on May 19, 1944, in Cedar City, Utah, to Jay and Ruth (Parashonts) Benson.Following graduation from high school, Calvin enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country, receiving his honorable discharge on Sept. 28, 1966.
