Ambitious expansion plan proposed

The Golden Valley Fire Department is proposing using a portion of more than $3.2 million in reserve funds to build up to four new fire stations. The issue will be discussed more in-depth at Wednesday's fire board meeting which starts at 6 p.m. at Station 12, 749 Egar Road.
