The High Desert 66 BMX held the DK Gold Cup Southwest Finals BMX Championships at Mohave County Fairgrounds Friday through Sunday. Dustin Lewis put on the event. About 3000 people attended the event and over 600 riders participated. There were riders from all over the U.S. participating in everything from beginner’s balance bikes to expert level races. The event included qualifying rounds, quarter and semi-main events and main events. High Desert 66 BMX holds races most Mondays and Wednesdays at the fairgrounds.
