March 3 – The Lee Williams High School baseball team defeated Gila Ridge Saturday morning to advance to the title game of the Big Red Construction Invite. The Vols came up short in the championship, losing 5-2 to Lake Havasu.
March 17 – The Kingman Academy High School softball team won the 2018 Coca-Cola Invitational Saturday, while Lee Williams took third. Kingman High was eliminated in the first round by the Lady Vols.
May 4 – The Lee Williams, Kingman and Kingman Academy high schools competed at the track and field state championship Friday and Saturday at Mesa Community College.
June 18 - Riders of all ages showed up at the Mohave County Fairgrounds Monday for High Desert 66 BMX's Olympic Day.
June 19 - Kingman North scored seven runs in the fourth inning Tuesday to cruise to a 12-2 win over Blythe in the second round of the District 9 Tournament.
June 20 – Hayden Gonzales, 11, counts the points on his target at Inside Out Archery. Corbin and Brad Rowden host weekly shooting sessions at the Mohave County Fairgrounds.
August 17 – The Kingman High School football team cruised to a 58-14 blowout of Pinon Friday night at KHS. Austin Dias led the way - passing for four touchdowns and adding three more on the ground.
August 24 - The Kingman High School football team not only picked up a 30-8 win over Sedona Red Rock Friday night, but the victory also gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 start for the first time in 21 years.
August 31 - The Lee Williams High School football team won its first game of the year Friday night with a 28-14 victory over River Valley. Enzo Marino rushed for two touchdowns, while Donnie Simms also scored on the ground. Matt Bathauer blocked a punt and Luigi Garibaldi recovered it for a touchdown to round out the scoring.
September 14 - The Lee Williams High School football team dropped a 44-14 loss to Bradshaw Mountain Friday night.
October 6 – Lee Williams’ Chris Marcus swam a 1:31.70 for fourth in the 100 butterfly and also added a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle.
November 20 – The Lee Williams High School boys basketball team won a thrilling battle against crosstown rival Kingman High Tuesday night by a score of 68-58.
November 20 – Kingman Academy's Tyler Chinyere drives to the basket for two of his game-high 27 points Monday night against Mohave.
November 27 - Lee Williams won its second game of the season Tuesday night in a 13-2 rout of crosstown rival Kingman High. Mackenzie Cathey scored a school-record seven goals.
December 3 - The Lee Williams High School boys soccer team won a thriller over Kingman High by a score of 3-2 in double overtime Monday night at KHS.
