Jovan Kinser

Jovan Kinser, a resident of Berryville, Ark., died Friday, May 19, 2000.

She was 62.


Kinser was born Dec.

3, 1937 in Cordell, Okla., to Bert Carroll and Elisha "Thomson" Brannon.


Kinser was a homemaker and a member of the Cove Church.

On Oct.

25, 1959 she was married to W.H.

"Butch" Kinser.

In addition to her husband, Mrs.

Kinser is survived by: daughter LeAnna Kinser of Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, Kenneth Kinser of Long Beach, Calif., and Dak Kinser of Carson, Calif.; two brothers, L.B.

Brannon of Torrance, Calif., and Marvin "Tunney" Brannon of Tulsa, Okla.; sister OmaDee Warren of Grand Junction, Colo., twin sister Chloe Ann James of Kingman; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Mary Piercey, Patsy James and Sally Brannon.

Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, May 24, 2000 in Berryville, Ark.

Burial will be in the Pension Mountain Cemetery.

Dean Hanford Engebretson

Dean Hanford Engebretson died Monday, May 15, 2000 in Kingman.

He was 88.


Engebretson was born Nov.

10, 1911 in Bettendorf, Iowa.


Engebretson retired as a Master Sergeant in the U.S.

Marine Corps.

after 20 years of service.

He served in World War II and Korea.

He moved to Kingman from Texas five years ago.


Engebretson is survived by: two sisters, Norma Bradley of Rockford, Ill., and Geraldine Goad of Kingman; step-son William Miller of San Antonio, Texas; three step-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Mary; four brothers, Arnold, Shirley Jr., Sherman and Lloyd; and sister Lois.

Burial was at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
