Mohave County reschedules auction of excess property

Mohave County will conduct an auction of excess property and vehicles.

Mohave County procurement manager Morris Brite said the auction will be held Dec.

13.

It had been scheduled for Oct.

25 but was postponed.

Property included in the auction will consist of computers, computer equipment, printers, typewriters, calculators and office furniture including desks, bookcases, chairs, filing cabinets, partitions and tables.

Also included are approximately 70 vehicles of various makes, models and year.

The auction will begin at 10 a.m.

at the Mohave County Public Works Building, 3675 Highway 66.

The auction will continue until all items are sold "as-is, where is," Brite said.

He said county department managers had been asked whether there was any equipment no longer needed but still usable.

County departments previously purchased equipment but now lease most equipment.

Auction bidders are being asked to stop by the auction location between 8 a.m.

and 10 a.m.

to see the items.

Participants must register, Brite said.

All items must be purchased with cash or a cashier's check.

Wire transfers, personal or company checks will not be accepted.

For a complete list of vehicles to be auctioned off, log on to www.co.mohave.az.us.

Vehicle titles will be put in the name of registered bidders.

All vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment must be removed from the auction within a specified number of days.
