Bank Street chip-seal work on tap

KINGMAN ­ Bank Street will remain closed between Calle Castano and Calle Alamo from Monday through Wednesday so that crews can complete soil stabilization and chip sealing, Mohave County Public Works Assistant Director Nicholas Hont said.

A detour will be marked and the street will be open to residents of Bank Street only.

Other county work on roads scheduled for next week include:

… Valle Vista ­ repaving will cause traffic slowdowns and stoppages;

… So-Hi ­ shoulder work and ditch repairs;

… Golden Valley ­ road repairs at Agua Fria Drive and Bryce Road;

… Hackberry Road ­ roadwork between Highway 93 intersection and I-40;

… Meadview ­ paving repairs in north end and downtown areas;

• Butler area ­ painting of stop strips at intersections;

• Gordon Drive just east of Willow Road ­ detour around construction work on the Mohave Wash Channel Project.
