Seven C. Williams

Steven Charles Williams (Mr. Hip) passed away on Oct. 8, 2005, in Kingman to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. He was born in San Bernardino, Calif., on May 8, 1948. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Wilcox (Richard) and grandsons, Jacob and Bradley Wilcox of Riverton, Utah; daughter, Angela Williams of Glendale; his sisters, Rena Hutchins (Steve), Donna Wallace (Terrell), and Georgia Bird, all of Kingman; and countless other family friends who loved him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucretia Bird and his father, Virgil Williams.

Steve served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired (27 years) from Southern California Edison as a resource center superintendent; while with Edison he worked in various locations throughout Southern California. Steve finished his career as a designer/planner for Tidwell Excavating in Tulare, Calif.

Steve was actively involved in his community wherever he lived and gave generously of his time and resources. He particularly loved children and was recognized in Orange County, Calif., for his efforts with abused children. Steve was also instrumental in establishing a Battered Women's Shelter in the San Joaquin Valley, Calif.

Viewing services will be held at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 2-4 p.m.; services will be at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the National Children's Cancer Society in the name of Steven C. Williams.

Dwight F. Smith

Dwight F. Smith, 79, of Kingman died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in Las Vegas.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.

He is survived by his brother, Vern; niece, Sandy, also of Kingman; and other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held for family and friends at a later date.

Steven M. Robinson

Steven M. Robinson, 51, of Chloride died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, in Chloride. He was born Oct. 11, 1953, in Kansas City, Mo.

William George Snider

William George Snider, 62, of Kingman died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, in Kingman. He was born Oct. 25, 1942, in San Diego.

Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Lorna Harlene Harmer

Lorna Harlene Harmer, 70, of Kingman died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in Kingman. She was born May 26, 1935, in El Cajon, Calif.

William A. Carter

William A. Carter of Kingman died Oct. 7, 2005, in Kingman. He was born May 2, 1943, in Glendale, Calif.

Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 16, at 4 p.m. at Kingman Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3810 White Cliffs Road.
