Punt, Pass & Kick scheduled

KINGMAN - The City of Kingman Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick Competition for boys and girls ages 8-15 with four age divisions. The competition will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Firefighters Park, which is next to Kingman Junior High School on Detroit Avenue. The cost is free. KRMC tournament set

KINGMAN - The 19th annual KRMC foundation charity golf tournament for Hospice is scheduled for Sept. 9 at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course and Sept. 10 at Laughlin Ranch Golf Course in Bullhead City. Entry fee is $200 and includes green fees, carts, and a room at the Ramada Express in Laughlin and other gifts courtesy of the tournament sponsors. Format is a four-person scramble with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start both days.

Sponsorship opportunities are available in various donation increments ranging from $300-10,000. Proceeds will be used to build a hospice house in Kingman to care for individuals who do not have a caregiver or live in remote areas not served by a hospice service. Organizers are hoping to raise $100,000 this year towards the $1.4 million project.
