Henry Kayser
Henry Kayser was born July 20, 1918, to Frank and Emma Kayser. He passed away Aug. 11, 2006, in Santa Rosa, Calif., at age 88. Henry attended Kingman-area schools and graduated as salutatorian from Mohave County Union High School (now Kingman High School) in 1936. He was active in all sports.
Henry received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Henry was an accountant for the Reynaud Automobile dealership in Santa Rosa for 35 years. He was a member and elder of the Presbyterian Church of the Roses in Santa Rosa. He enjoyed square dancing, traveling, fishing, camping, and was an avid sports fan. He will be remembered as a dedicated family man.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emma, and his son-in-law, Robert Brown of Santa Rosa, Calif. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Lois of Santa Rosa; his daughters, Earlene Munnerlyn (husband, Jim) of Portland, Ore., and Marlene Brown of Santa Rosa; his sister, Georgia Ann (Kayser) Wetherill of Phoenix; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Thursday, Aug. 17, at Santa Rosa Mortuary, Eggen and Lance Chapel, with entombment at Santa Rosa Memorial Park in Santa Rosa, Calif.
