KINGMAN – Kingman Police detectives have arrested a second suspect in connection with a drive-by shooting May 27 in the 2700 block of Louise Avenue.
About 1:45 p.m. Thursday, detectives arrested Nathan Lyle DeYoung, 19, of Kingman in the 2800 block of E. Andy Devine Avenue.
The KPD previously had questioned De-Young about the incident in which nobody was injured when bullets were fired into an occupied residence. He now is alleged to have been the driver of the suspect vehicle.
DeYoung was booked into Mohave County Jail on a felony charge of drive-by shooting. Dakota Luke Twitchell of Kingman was booked into jail last week on the same charge.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gordon B. Gebhart, 22, of Kingman on May 31 on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued in Macon County, Ill.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Cactus Wren Road, a news release from the MCSO stated. They contacted Gebhart, the driver, and ran a records check on him. It uncovered the warrant, which stemmed from an original charge of arson/reckless conduct.
Gebhart was booked into Mohave County Jail to await extradition.
