Hogge shoots career round at Cerbat Cliffs

In Men's Club news, Ray "Hoagie Carmichael" Hogge stole the show when he shot a career-best gross score of 70, two shots more than his age. Not only did Hogge take first place honors on the back side with a 28.5 and tie for second place on the front side (30.5), but he also had closest to the pin honors on holes 6 and 14. A great day and a big congrats.

Taking first place honors on the front side was Leo Jaramillo (30.1), beating out Hogge and Bud Dick (30.5). Fourth place went to Ron Silva (32). On the back side, Tom Webster was in second (32.2), beating out Dick (33.5) in third and some guy named Taz in fourth (34). Other closest to the pin honors went to Dave Miller on No. 8, Don Burt on No. 10, and Everett Jackson on No. 17.

In Ladies Club news, Julie Brackett defeated Sandy Moon, setting up a match with Linda Kennedy for the "A" Flight Championship. Lori Dale defeated Ann Weaver on the 19th hole to take top honors in the "B" Flight division.
