DOLAN SPRINGS - The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified the victims of a rollover accident Thursday morning on U.S. 93.
Around 1 a.m., Raynal Charley, 37, of New Mexico was driving a pickup truck north at milepost 36. He apparently fell asleep at the wheel, and then overcorrected as the truck began to leave the highway.
Pronounced dead at the scene were passengers Bradley Pratt, 22, of Chinle, Ariz., and Fernando Zah, 21, of Paguate, N.M.
Charley was airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he was treated for a broken left arm and released.
A DUI and manslaughter investigation is ongoing.
GOLDEN VALLEY - A motorcyclist was critically injured Thursday after losing control of his bike and crashing on State Route 68 near Union Pass.
About 12:26 p.m., two units and four personnel from the Golden Valley Fire Department responded to the scene, along with units from the Bullhead City Fire Department, GVFD Capt. Dave Martin said.
Kingman Ranger, the Arizona Department of Public Safety air rescue helicopter airlifted the man to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he was admitted with head injuries and multiple trauma, pilot Marty Adams said.
The biker was westbound when he lost control of the bike, crossed the median and laid the bike down in the eastbound lanes at milepost 9.9, Adams said.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Joseph Wolf, 44, of Kingman on Wednesday on felony charges of unlawful use of means of transportation and probation violation.
Deputies contacted Wolf during a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration tag at Devlin Avenue and Tommie Drive, a news release from the MCSO stated.
A computer check on the 1985 GMC pickup revealed it was reported stolen April 7. Wolf was taken into custody.
A further check with the Mohave County Probation Department revealed Wolf was wanted for violating probation.
Wolf was booked into Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Rodney Jay Rothwell, 44, of Kingman on Sunday night on a felony drug paraphernalia violation warrant and misdemeanor failure to appear warrant, both issued by Kingman Justice Court.
About 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3600 block of Bluebird Lane, a news release from the MCSO stated.
They contacted Rothwell and found the two warrants on him during a records check. He was booked into Mohave County Jail.
