KINGMAN - On Thursday, the Kingman Police Department took seven reports of criminal damage by graffiti in the residential neighborhood area of Crozier, Kemp and Boulder avenues. The graffiti was in red and black spray paint. "KINFOLK" and "KMK" was written.

Anyone with information should contact the KPD at 753-2191 or anonymous reports can be made to Mohave Silent Witness at 753-1234. A reward is offered for information leading to the person(s) responsible.

KINGMAN - The Mohave County Sheriff's Sex Offender Registrar arrested Charles William Stevenson Jr., 38, of Kingman Thursday afternoon for failure to register as sex offender, a felony. The sex offender compliance team in Phoenix contacted MCSO regarding Stevenson, who was already in custody on local warrants. The Mohave County registrar did not find a record of Stevenson registering in Mohave County as a sex offender.

The registrar confirmed that Stevenson had been living in Mohave County. Stevenson was contacted in the Mohave County Jail and was arrested on the additional felony charge.

Stevenson has been in custody since Aug. 7 on misdemeanor charges.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert James Archer, 40, of Kingman Thursday afternoon on a failure to appear felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court on original charges of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court.

At approximately 1:41 p.m., deputies contacted Archer at a residence in the 2300 block of Thompson Avenue. A records check showed Archer to have outstanding warrants.

Archer was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
