Tomas Napoleon Tapia
Tomas Napoleon Tapia, 79, of Kingman died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at The Gardens Care Center in Kingman. He was born Nov. 1, 1927, in San Jose, N.M. He had lived in Kingman off and on for the past 25 years, coming here from Los Angeles. He was a retired forklift operator and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
Tomas is survived by his former wife and friend, Cecilia Colantonio of Alhambra, Calif.; his sons, Tom Jr., Richard and Robert (Rhonda); daughter, Charlotte (Hock) Hwan; six brothers, Marguerito (Mary), Luciano (Lucy), Leo (Joan), Roque (Vera), Floyd (Jeanette) and Phillip (Rosalind); eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Tomas was a wonderful brother, father, grandfather and friend to all, always making someone laugh with his colorful and often exaggerated stories.
The wake will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, with the Rosary at 6 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Floyd Tapia to be donated to his devoted caregivers at The Gardens.

Robert Heath Stevens
Robert Heath Stevens, 38, of Kingman died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006. He was born April 28, 1968, in Long Beach, Calif. He came to Kingman from California six years ago.
He worked as construction supervisor at Mohave Construction.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Stevens, age 17, of Kingman; his son, Shawn Stevens, age 14, of Kingman; his mother, Sharon Stevens of California; his brother, Richard Stevens of California; and his sister, Dawn Martin of England.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, in Mohave Valley.
You will be missed and not forgotten, for you're very special to us all.
