Kenneth A. Gill

Kenneth A. Gill, passed away in his home on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at the age of 56. He was born April 7, 1950, in Philadelphia to Theodore and Angeline Gill.

Ken and his wife of 30 years, Diane, moved to Kingman 11 years ago, coming from Franklinville, N.J.

Prior to moving to Kingman, he worked as a security officer, and then moving up he became a blackjack dealer at the Clairage Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

Ken loved the game of pool and was quite a player himself. He was in numerous pool tournaments and won a number of trophies.

He loved classic cars and car shows, especially the Route 66 Fun Run and the Kingman Air and Auto Show.

Every year Ken would look forward to the Harley run, as he loved seeing the bikes.

He enjoyed watching football games on TV, although he never really had a favorite team.

He also enjoyed watching Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Ken loved his humor as well as seeing his classic car collection.

His most enjoyable moments were when he would take his three dogs, Odie, Charlie Brown and Cosmo, to the Kingman Dog Park to play while he socialized with others.

Ken is survived by his wife, Diane Gill of Kingman; children, Kenneth Gill Jr. (Michelle "Storm") of Sellerville, Pa., Laura Gill of Tuscon and James Gill (Lauren) of Kingman; and grandchildren, Jacob and Anna. His mother, father and brother, Joseph Gill, preceded him in death.

Ken lived a full and independent life. He was a very loving husband to wife Diane and a wonderful father to his three children.

He will be missed more than anyone could ever know and he will always be loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Help Animals Lives Today (HALT), 6625 Massachusetts Drive, Kingman, AZ 86401.
