Suspect on the loose after Dolan shooting

KINGMAN - An unknown male suspect is being sought by the Mohave County Sheriff's Office following an early morning shooting Monday in Dolan Springs that left a man in critical condition.

Mohave County Sheriff's detectives and deputies found Dennis Waller, 63, of Dolan Springs outside of his residence on a roadway adjacent to his property at about 3:11 a.m. with three gunshot wounds.

Waller was transported from the residence in the 5900 block of 17th Street to University Medical Center in Las Vegas and is listed in critical condition, a MCSO news release stated.

His live-in girlfriend reported to investigators that a male subject, who needed assistance with his vehicle, awoke Waller in the early hours of the morning.

Waller went outside to assist, and shortly thereafter, he was allegedly shot by the unknown male subject.

The male suspect walked away from the scene.

He is described as having tattoos on both arms and possibly a tattoo on his chest. His hair is light in color and may be blonde or gray.

Anyone with any information regarding this incident or information about the male suspect is asked to contact Detective Steve Parker or a deputy at the Mohave County Sheriff's Office at 753-0753 or (800) 522-4312.
