Sharon M. Davis
Sharon Max Pattillo Davis passed away on Monday, June 18, 2007, in Kingman. She was born on Jan. 29, 1943, in Kingman to Dene and Lillian Pattillo, who preceded her in death.
A lifelong resident of Kingman, she graduated from Mohave County Union High School in 1961, attended the University of Arizona and returned to Kingman to marry her childhood friend, Nolan Davis. She worked with her brother and father at Valley National Company Insurance, and later for many years, alongside her husband in the Davis Insurance Agency.
Sharon loved the outdoors and relaxing at her home in the Hualapai Mountains. She was always ready to share with family and friends her enthusiasm and knowledge of the local plants and birds and fond memories of her childhood in Clack's Canyon. She especially enjoyed time with her grandson, Finn.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Nolan Davis of Kingman; her son, Sean Davis; his wife, Britta; and their son, Finn of Tucson; her brother, Eddie Pattillo; his wife, Mary Jane; niece and nephew, Kimberley and Cullin, all of Kingman; her aunt, Maire Maloney Cheney of Windermere, Fla.; and a loving extended family.
The family invites you to join them any time between 2 and 5 p.m. on Friday, June 22, at the Kingman Elks Lodge, 900 Gates Ave., for an informal celebration of Sharon's life.
