GV needs more law enforcement

Dear Editor:

Will we ever get any law enforcement protection in Golden Valley?

Crime is running rampant. The graffiti nuts are spray painting, the crooks are breaking into homes, garages, etc., and stealing anything they can get their hands on. We even recently had our solar lights stolen from off of our block wall. We put them up one day, and the next morning they were gone.

Mailboxes are being vandalized. Ours has been hit twice in two months.

The drivers of vehicles in Golden Valley think this is their own personal Nascar racetrack. This is a wide-open area for the bad guys.

Most of this could be prevented if we had a regular preventive patrol by the Sheriff's Office. Golden Valley is part of Mohave County. It is the responsibility of the Sheriff's Office to keep it under control.

We pay taxes out here, and Golden Valley residents should get what we pay for. The best way to prevent crime is to have a preventive control plan.
