Sitter's spouse arrested for allegedly molesting kids
The Kingman Police Department is seeking parents of potential victims of an alleged child molester.
Detectives arrested Raymond Carrion Sanchez, 47, around 1 p.m. Thursday at his residence in the 2500 block of Ricca Drive on charges of child molestation and sexual conduct with a minor. "Beginning on Tuesday, detectives began investigating complaints from a 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old girl about incidents occurring at the suspect's residence in Kingman," Sgt. Rusty Cooper said.
The children alerted their parents, who then in turn contacted the KPD, Cooper said. The suspect's wife had been informally babysitting children of family and friends for the past few months while the alleged crimes took place.
"Anyone whose children may have been cared for in Sanchez' home is urged to contact Kingman Police detectives," Cooper said. "Parents are asked to not question their children."
Cooper added parents should contact Detective Sharie Weber at 753-8181.
Sanchez was booked into the Mohave County Jail after questioning by detectives.
