John Plummer Jr.
John Frederick "Jack" Plummer Jr., 78, of Kingman passed away on Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 17, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Kingman three years ago from Ava, Mo. He was a systems engineer for IBM for 29 years, belonged to the Knights of Columbus (four times Post Grand Knight) and was a Life Scout in the Boy Scouts of America (in scouting for 61 years). He served as staff sergeant in the United States Air Force.
Jack is survived by his wife, Grace Plummer of Kingman; two daughters, Micheline (Ray) Golden of Clovis, Calif., and Jackie (Chris) Corlis of Kingman; his son, Zachary Plummer of Kingman; and his brother, Ed Plummer of New York. He his also survived by five grandchildren, Asheline Beeson, Chelsea Beeson and Samantha Golden of Clovis, and Brianna Corlis and Eric Corlis of Kingman.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, with the Rosary at 6 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 302 E. Spring St. A reception will follow.
