Big events set for Cerbat Cliffs

Big events are coming up at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course.

Saturday: Second Annual Pine Lake Fire Department Scramble. You can enter at the Pro Shop.

Friday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and Sept. 16: Sirochman Group. Tee times Friday and an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday.

Saturday, Sept. 22: First round of the KRMC here at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. The second round will be at Laughlin Ranch. Please sign up at the pro shop.

Sunday, Sept. 23: The second Dine & Wine Mixed event. It is a 10 a.m. start and sign ups are being taken at the pro shop.

Congrats to Andrew Carlin's (the low medalist) 36-68 and to the rest of the Bulldogs for their first place finish at Needles this past weekend. Taking third was Tanner Theel and Sean Williams. Aaron Pitts was 10th. What a great job!

In Men's Club news, Dale "Hopalong" Gallop, the biggest sandbagger, shot 31.5 to beat out the second biggest sandbagger, Rich "I've got the Gold" Silva by .10 of a shot. Third place was as tie between Dean "That's Amore" Martin and Mike "Herman" Munsterman. Both shot net 32s.

On the back nine, old Deano Martin took first place with a score of 32. Second place went to "Investigator" Everett Jackson and Brian "Bubba" Clancy, both of whom shot 33. Fourth place went to Don "Not Reynolds" Burt with a 33.2.

Closest to the pin honors went to Martin (hole No. 6), Kin "Bandit" Delgado (No. 8), Ray "Hoggie" Hogge (10 & 17) and Glen "My Back is Killing Me" Woosley (No. 14).
