GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Donald Glen Branson, 27, of Golden Valley at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for possession of stolen property; possession of a vehicle with removed, defaced or altered vehicle identification number and a misdemeanor warrant. That afternoon, deputies noticed an early 1980s Toyota pick-up truck matching the description of one reported stolen from Bullhead City. The vehicle stopped in the 3300 block of Aztec Road, and the driver, Branson, exited the vehicle. Branson told deputies that he had purchased the truck from a man for $100 two days ago. Deputies noted that the VIN did not match the stolen vehicle. The deputies were able to locate another VIN on the vehicle that did match. Branson was taken into custody and booked into the county jail.
