KHS Letterman's attend hockey game
On Feb. 16, the Kingman High School Letterman's Club had their first inaugural trip to see the Phoenix Coyotes play against the Los Angeles Kings at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale. The students really enjoyed watching and cheering on the team.
Club President Michael Rigger said, "The trip was an awesome time. Some of us have never been to a professional hockey game before, and it was cool to be able to do that with a lot of friends."
A total of 22 of the 35 club members went on the trip including six club officers. The club is sponsored by KHS athletic coaches Bob and Rob York.
The Letterman's Club is devoted to building relationships between the athletes within the various sporting teams with events and activities at KHS. "We are all Bulldogs, and we support one another. We are all on the same team," said head sponsor Rob York. "This club was very active while I was a student at KHS, and I want to provide wonderful experiences and character building for our current athletes."
The Letterman's Club would like to thank the school and district administrators, chaperones and district departments that helped make this memorable experience for these students.
