KINGMAN - Information is being sought in regards to the poaching of a javelina on July 16 about nine miles south of Interstate 40 along Anvil Rock Road between Kingman and Seligman. Arizona Game and Fish officials said the killing occurred about 9 a.m. and the carcass was then removed from the area by four Hispanic males driving a newer white Ford four-door pickup truck with California license plates. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Operation Game Thief at (800) 352-0700. Caller identities will remain confidential upon request, and callers may be eligible to receive a reward of at least $250 upon the arrest of the violator. Callers may also contact the Game and Fish Kingman office at (928) 692-7700.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Atamai Mica Stanley, 18, of Las Vegas Monday evening on suspicion of felony resisting arrest. At 7:37 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 93 near milepost 124 and contacted the driver, Stanley. A records check showed Stanley allegedly never had a driver's license. He was notified by deputies that Arizona law required the vehicle be impounded. According to MCSO, when the deputy began walking back to his patrol unit to fill out paperwork, Stanley exited his vehicle and began yelling and walking toward the deputy. He refused to comply with deputies' commands and continued to walk toward them. As deputies approached Stanely with handcuffs, he began to walk back to his vehicle. He was uncooperative, and a Taser had to be used in order to take him into custody. He was booked into the county jail where he was also cited for not having a valid driver's license. A passenger in the vehicle was cited for allowing an unauthorized person to drive.

KINGMAN - Arizona Department of Public Safety has updated information involving a rollover accident that occurred Friday on U.S. Highway 93 near Wikieup. A passenger van carrying a group of workers, traveling northbound, rolled over around 2 p.m. and caught fire. The driver, Devin Williams, 31, of Phoenix was flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas. According to DPS, he is listed in serious condition. Passenger Jonathan Wolters, 21, of Phoenix was flown to UMC. According to DPS, his condition is improving. Passenger Lisa Huntley, 37, of Phoenix was also flown to UMC with burn injuries. Passenger Chuck Goforth, 54, of Phoenix was flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas. His current condition is unknown. Passenger Judy Pastore, 52, of Phoenix was transported by ambulance to Kingman Regional Medical Center and then flown to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Phoenix. Her current condition is unknown. Passengers Toni Stanley, 40, and Salvador Escobedo, 20, both of Phoenix were transported to KRMC, treated and released.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Marc Adam Keeling, 25, of Kingman Tuesday morning on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license. Deputies stopped Keeling's vehicle around 4 a.m. in the 3800 block of Grace Neal. A records check showed him to have a suspended license. He was taken into custody. Deputies located a pipe and a marijuana cigarette in his possession. He was booked into the county jail.
