KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Travis Edward Willden, 19, and a 16-year-old male, both of Kingman, late Sunday morning. Willden and the 16-year-old were each arrested on felony burglary charges. At approximately 11:05 a.m., deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 4000 block of North Pinal Street. The reporting party advised dispatch that two male subjects gained entry to a house by breaking a window. Upon arrival, deputy's detained two subjects while one was walking away from the residence and the other was exiting the back door. The subjects were identified as Willden and the 16-year-old. During conversations with Willden, he said that they were across the street when they heard glass break, and they decided to check the house. Deputies contacted two witnesses and both witnesses said that the detained subjects broke the window and entered the residence, an MCSO release stated. Willden was transported and booked into the Mohave County jail without incident. The 16-year-old was transported and booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center without incident.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Paul Guadalupe Castro, 39, of Golden Valley early Sunday morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, along with two misdemeanor charges. At approximately 12:35 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on North Glen Road at Butler Avenue and contacted Castro, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Castro, an MCSO release stated. During conversations with Castro, he said that he had one beer, the release stated. Following field sobriety tests, Castro was taken into custody. A search of Castro revealed a glass pipe with burnt residue, the release stated. Castro was transported to Mohave County Sheriff's Office where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration to be .140 percent, the release stated. Castro was transported and booked into the Mohave County jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
