Letter: Thank you to hospital staff for their grace in a crisis
On the 17th of July, Dennis had an ATV accident and was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.
He had a very short wait before being taken into the ER, where the ER team then carefully took him to X-ray, drew blood, and made him very comfortable. We found out that he had three broken ribs and a broken pelvis. They told him he had about 10 weeks for recovery. At about 10 p.m., he was moved to the PCU unit where he was watched closely, before he was moved to the Ortho unit for the rest of his stay. His RN, CAN and the aides were truly skilled in all his needs. To quote him, "They were angels in the night, and darlings in the daytime."
We want to thank these heroes specifically: RN Sheila and Emelda, RN Debra and Julie, RN Angela and Leola, RN Judy and Ashley, and any and all we have failed to mention. Den is at home right now under the care of Home Health through KRMC RN Joy and Breezy, two extremely qualified people for the field. Again we cannot say enough Thank Yous.
