Valle Vista Craft Fair offers shopping opportunities
There's plenty to do at the Valle Vista Library right now, besides checking out books and using the computers.
Today at 2:30 p.m., there will be a beginning beading program. All supplies will be provided free of charge, and you will be able to take your project home with you.
The library will hold a book discussion at noon on Sept. 15. The book will be "Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold, and there are copies available at the library.
Be sure to mark your calendar to attend the 3rd Annual Valle Vista Craft Fair on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Valle Vista Community Church.
It will be a great chance to start your holiday shopping or pick something up for yourself.
All property owners should have received their ballots for the 2008 election. Be sure to get yours in before the deadline on Monday, Sept. 22, so your vote will count.
The Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation's 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament for Hospice will be on Saturday, Sept. 6. The format will be a four-person scramble - pick your own team. The $100 per player entry fee includes green fees with cart, shirt, cap, towel and award luncheon. Proceeds will be used to support the operation of the new Joan and Diana Hospice Home in Kingman. Entry fees must be received by Thursday, Sept. 4. For more information or to sign up, please contact Jamie Taylor at (928) 757-0664 or the Pro Shop at Valle Vista at (928) 757-8744.
