GOLDEN VALLEY -Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lea Lynn Malaro, 35, of Golden Valley Thursday evening on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. She was also arrested on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and promoting prison contraband. At 10:40 p.m., deputies contacted Malaro at a residence in the 6700 block of Abrigo Drive regarding her outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Mohave County Jail. While Malaro was being processed and booked into the jail, tobacco, rolling papers, numerous pills and marijuana were allegedly located on her.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Titus Anthony Johnson, 28, of Kingman Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of a felony sex offender registration violation. On Monday, deputies contacted Johnson in the area of Eagle Drive and Bluebird. Johnson is a registered sex offender and he recently moved to a residence in the 4200 block of Eagle Drive. Deputies informed Johnson that he needed to update his registration with the Sheriff's Office. The Mohave County Sheriff's Sex Offender Registration officer later learned that a detective from the Kingman Police Department learned that Johnson had moved earlier that month. At 12:10 p.m., deputies contacted Johnson in the 3500 block of Stockton Hill Road and took him into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jay Louis Thomason, 34, of Kingman Thursday morning on suspicion of felony aggravated assault domestic violence, aggravated disorderly conduct domestic violence, unlawful use of means of transportation and aggravated DUI. On Tuesday evening, deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 1400 block of John L Avenue and contacted a 41-year-old woman. The woman reported Thomason, her boyfriend, was drunk and belligerent. She said that Thomason allegedly raised his fists to her and grabbed her car keys. Then he allegedly pushed her off the bed and caused her to fall onto the ground. When deputies arrived, they observed Thomason run out the back door. An attempt to locate was issued to area law enforcement. Later, deputies observed Thomason driving a vehicle in the area of John L Avenue. At 12:33 a.m., deputies contacted Thomason after he pulled the vehicle over in the 8100 block of Iron Winds Drive. Thomason refused to exit the vehicle as he was drinking an alcoholic beverage, later identified as vodka. After several orders, deputies opened the driver's door and took Thomason into custody without further incident. A records check showed Thomason to have a history of domestic violence convictions. He was transported to the Mohave County Jail where he refused to submit to a breath analysis. A blood sample was taken.
