Mohave 911: Sunday, December 14, 2008

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Denny Graham Jr., 38, of Kingman, Tuesday afternoon on two felony warrants - fugitive from justice, issued in Santa Barbara, Calif.,; and escape second degree, issued by Kingman Justice Court - along with two misdemeanor warrants for contempt of court, issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court and Kingman Justice Court. At 11:59 a.m. on Tuesday, a deputy spotted a reportedly stolen rental vehicle. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle at Devlin and Benton, but the driver, later identified as Graham, sped off. Deputies later found the vehicle abandoned in an alley near Lass and Packard avenues. At 12:15 p.m., deputies contacted Graham at a residence in the 3000 block of Lass Avenue. A records check revealed that Graham had the multiple outstanding warrants. Deputies took Graham custody without further incident and booked him into the Mohave County Jail. Other charges still could be filed, depending on a review of the case by the County Attorney's Office.
