KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Pasqual Sosimo Acuna, 18, of Kingman and a 25-year-old Kingman woman Monday evening. Acuna was arrested on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. At approximately 8:24 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of Snavely Avenue and contacted the female driver and Acuna, the passenger. A records check showed her driver's license to be suspended and she was taken into custody without incident. Deputies detained Acuna as he had been identified as a suspect in an assault incident. A search of Acuna allegedly revealed two bags containing a white substance, a pair of tweezers with burnt residue, a measuring scale, a glass pipe with residue and numerous miscellaneous pills. Acuna was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail after detectives at the Mohave County Sheriff's Office questioned him. Deputies investigated two incidents that occurred on Dec. 31 in the 3100 block of Unforgiven Circle where Acuna had been identified as the suspect in both incidents. Two male victims age 30 and 36 said that they ran when they saw Acuna exit a blue truck with a gun in his hand. The victims further said that they heard shots being fired after they started running away. Two other 19-year-old female victims said that they were traveling in their vehicle when a blue truck stopped in the roadway and a male occupant inside the truck started shooting at them.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Ricky Joseph Frankie Lee, 18, of Dolan Springs Monday afternoon on a felony warrant for theft and trafficking stolen property issued by Kingman Justice Court on Dec. 28. On Nov. 24, deputies responded to a burglary at a residence in the 16700 block of Kitmit Drive in Dolan Springs. A variety of items were reported stolen: collectible plates, coins and cash, a purse, an antique cross bow and five Zippo lighters. Upon investigation, deputies learned that Lee moved out of the residence in the summer of 2007. With the assistance of a Sheriff's Posse member, the posse member determined through pawn tickets that Lee had sold some coins to a pawn shop. The coins were recovered from the pawn shop. The case was submitted to the Mohave County Attorney's Office for review, and a warrant was issued for Lee. Monday afternoon detectives observed Lee getting into a vehicle and proceeding to drive away. Detectives knew Lee to have an outstanding warrant. At approximately 2:10 p.m., detectives conducted a traffic stop at Mohave Airport Drive and Commerce Drive. Detectives contacted Lee and took him into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Cruz Beckmon, 27, of Kingman, early Wednesday morning for assault by aggravated domestic violence and a misdemeanor. At approximately 3:41 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 2800 block of McVicar Avenue and contacted the 23-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Beckmon, her boyfriend, jumped on her and was punching her in the stomach. The victim further reported that Beckmon kicked in their bedroom door. Deputies observed a five-inch crack in the wooden door. Deputies contacted Beckmon who said that he had a few beers and he did not have any physical contact with his girlfriend. A history check showed Beckmon to have a history of domestic violence incidents. Beckmon was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
