KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Matthew Otto Feenstra, 31, of Kingman Friday morning on suspicion of felony burglary and possession of stolen property. Deputies responded to an auto burglary around 7:20 a.m. in the 9200 block of Cowbell Avenue. The owner of the vehicle reported that someone had broken into his semi-truck parked in front of his residence and taken several food items and a .38 caliber handgun. Officers contacted the vehicle owner's neighbor, Feenstra. He denied being involved in the burglary and gave permission to search his home. Deputies located several food items in a cabinet that matched the description provided by the vehicle owner. Feenstra could not provide a receipt for the food. Feenstra then advised deputies as to the whereabouts of the stolen gun. It was located in a field across the street from Feenstra's residence. He was taken into custody and booked into the county jail.
