St. Mary Roman Catholic Church

This weekend, July 19 - 20th, St. Mary's will celebrate the Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The weekend Mass schedule is as follows:

Saturday, July 19th: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM  Reconcililation (in English or Spanish) (Confesiones en inglés y español); 4:00 PM Vigil Mass - Dolan Springs; 6:00 PM Vigil Mass - Kingman

Sunday, July 20th: 8:00 AM Mass - Kingman; 10:30 AM Mass - Kingman; 5:00 PM Misa en español

During the month of July, donations of eyeglasses and hearing aids - in any condition or number of pieces (!!) - will be collected on behalf of the Lion's Club Vision and Hearing programs. You may drop glasses and hearing aids off at the Parish Center on weekdays during regular office hours; or at the Sunday Office in the vestibule of the Church on weekends. The eyelasses and hearing aids will be refurbished and distributed to those in need by the Lion's Club.

July 20-26, 2008, is Natural Family Planning Awareness Week. If you would like a general information Sheet on NFP or if you would like to find out about NFP classes, call the Parish Office at 753-3359.

All interested parishioners are invited to the Parish Center at 2 PM on Saturday, July 26th, to participate in planning our October Church Picnic!

MASS SCHEDULE CHANGES...  Father Matthew will be out of town visiting family beginning Tuesday, July 22, 2008. As a result there will  be NO daily Masses until Wednesday, July 30th at  6 PM (Misa en español).

Father Peter Kohler will be visiting next weekend, July 26-27th, and will be available for our weekend schedule of Reconciliation (Confession) and Masses in Kingman and Dolan Springs.

NOTE: The Rosary  and  Divine Mercy Chaplet  will  be  recited at St. Mary  Church  at  the following  days/times  next  week:

Monday 7-21-2008 8:30 AM

Tuesday 7-22-2008 8:00 AM

Wednesday 7-23-2008 NO Rosary/Chaplet

Thursday 7-24-2008 8:00 AM

Friday 7-25-2008 8:00 AM

We encourage  families  to join us at Daily Mass and/or  for the recitation of the Rosary and Chaplet on weekdays in the summer. With school  being out and a few days of vacation being available, beginning the day  with Mass or prayer is a wonderful means of thanking Our Lord for the many blessings we have received!!!

The Knights of Columbus council #3145 is chartering  a  new Boy Scout Troop. The new troop will be meeting on Thursday evenings at 7 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 2255 East Butler Avenue. Troop membership is open to all boys ages 12 through 18 years of age in the area regardless of which Church they attend. For information, contact the Parish Center.
