Raptors and owls to be discussed

Arizona Game and Fish Department and local falconers will conduct an Owls and Raptors of Arizona presentation as part of the Summer Wildlife Series from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Student Center, Room 200F, at Mohave Community College-Kingman.

Zen Mocarski of the Game and Fish Kingman office will present information on owls followed by local falconers Charlie Kaiser and Pam Hessey, who will conduct a presentation on raptors and will also bring a live Harris hawk to the presentation.

The presentation is free and open to the public. Remaining on the schedule for the Summer Wildlife Series is Black-footed ferrets on Aug. 7 and the desert tortoise on Aug. 28.
