Carol Kurtz
Carol Kurtz (nee Erickson) passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, July 23, in Dolan Springs. She was born Dec. 23, 1943.
She married her sweetheart, our late, loving father, Jerome Schwartz, in 1961. They were married for 34 years. She remarried in 2007 to Jerry Kurtz of Dolan Springs. She was married to him a short time before her passing.
She was the loving mother of Tammy (Mark) of Dolan Springs, Kelly (Phillip) of Franklin, Wis., Kimberly (Richard Simonsen Jr.) of Union Grove, Wis., Daniel (Cindy) of Cudahy, Wis., and Travis (Tyler) of Franksville, Wis. She was loved deeply by her children, friends and family, and will be dearly missed.
She will be greatly missed by her 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who will not have the honor of knowing her.
She is also survived by one brother, William Erickson of Shell Lake, Wis., and one sister, Doris Fogelberg of Baronette, Wis.
Services for family and friends will be held in Wisconsin at a later date with a private service to follow.
Desert Lawn Funeral Home will be handling cremation arrangements.
She was an organ donor for Life Legacy.
She is now an angel of God and will have eternal life forever. We love you and will forever miss you.
