Glen D. Jackson

Glen Jackson, also known as Buddy, has passed away at the age of 62. Buddy was born in Broken Bow, Okla., on July 1, 1945, to O.W. and Myrle Jackson. Buddy did two tours of duty in Vietnam. His second tour was cut short because the 173rd Airborne was wiped out on "Hill 875." There were 249 men sent in, and only 11 came back alive. Buddy received one Silver Star and two Bronze Stars, and many more service medals.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael and Jason Jackson; two brothers, Dewayne Jackson and Larry Jackson and his wife Cheryl; ex-wife and friend, Jeanie Pemberton; and six grandchildren.

Buddy will surely be missed by all his family and friends. Private cremation has already taken place, but we can still hear the roar of his Harley and that great laugh as he goes on his way to the Lord with Bob Seger playing softly "Against the Wind" in the background.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wells Fargo, account No. 6611318169 (Nellie Pemberton), to help his family in their time of need. Thanks to all from the Jackson Family.
