In Brief: Pit-bull spay/neuter clinic today

KINGMAN - Plateauland Mobile Veterinary Clinic (a division of Second Chance Center for Animals) and HALT, located in Kingman, are having a free spay/neuter service for pit-bulls & pit-bull mixtures both male and female today and Thursday at Smith's, Stockton Hill and Airway, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Surgery requirements are: no food 12 hours prior to surgery, water is acceptable; dogs must be at least 4 months but under 5 years of age; no more than three animals per household; dogs must be kept indoors after surgery; they must have current rabies vaccination - rabies shots will be provided if necessary at $10 per animal; and all animals are examined for surgical acceptance.
