KINGMAN - On Monday at 5:10 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Ivan Nat Kenyon, 22, of Kingman on a felony charge of possession of marijuana and arrested Christopher Lee Hall, 20, of Kingman on a felony charge of illegal possession of narcotic drugs. Kenyon and Hall were contacted while they were walking along railroad property in the 1900 block of East Andy Devine Avenue. Both had misdemeanor warrants out of Kingman Municipal Court. During their arrest, both were found to be in possession of their respective illegal drugs, and both were booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's detectives are investigating an arson that occurred at a residence in the 3000 block of Packard Avenue on Saturday morning. Detectives spoke with several neighbors who reported hearing a loud noise before the fire. Some of the witnesses also reported seeing a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Fire department personnel advised of a deceased body inside the residence. The victim has not yet been identified. Shawn Avery Guerrero, 26, of Kingman was wanted for questioning. An attempt-to-locate was issued for and on Sunday Tempe Police Department made contact with him. Guerrero was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on outstanding misdemeanor warrants out of Mohave County. The investigation is ongoing.
DOLAN SPRINGS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Carter Clark, 49, of Dolan Springs on Sept. 24 for failure to register as a sex offender, sex offender failure to carry or obtain identification, and on misdemeanor charges. On Sept. 23, deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 15700 block of Jasper Drive and contacted a 51-year-old female who reported that Clark, her boyfriend, threatened her life, a MCSO release stated. The woman said that Clark broke the rear entrance door by kicking it, and then he left on foot prior to the officers' arrival. Deputies contacted a witness who confirmed that Clark threatened the victim. At 9:15 a.m. the next day, deputies found Clark at a residence. They took him into custody without incident and determined that Clark was not in compliance with sex offender registration requirements, the release stated. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - At about 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 25, Kingman police arrested Jon H. Pethers, 49, of Kingman on charges of aggravated assault by domestic violence and a warrant out of La Paz County. Officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 2600 block of Chicago Avenue and learned that Pethers allegedly had punched a male subject multiple times, causing a laceration and a broken nose to the victim, a KPD release stated. Pethers was found to have a warrant and was booked into Mohave County Jail.
