Employees rate KRMC high

KINGMAN - Kingman Regional Medical Center conducted an employee satisfaction survey in May.

The overall satisfaction of their employees was benchmarked at the 87th percentile (compared to other medical centers). This is the best result so far for the hospital, said Jamie Taylor, director of development and public relations.

Some of the notable overall hospital results:

• Conflicts are managed in a way that result in positive solutions - 99th percentile

• I have recently received praise or recognition for my work - 99

• When I express a concern to senior management, I can generally expect to be heard and responded to - 99

• My pay is fair - 98

• The hospital's benefits package meets my needs - 98

• I feel safe when coming to and leaving work - 98

• The hospital demonstrates its core values through its decisions and policies - 98

• My manager gives me measurable goals to achieve - 97

• My manager does a good job of recognizing employee contributions - 96

• I understand and support the mission, philosophy and values of the hospital - 95

• My manager consistently stresses the importance of patient satisfaction - 94

• The top leadership has developed a clear vision and plan for the hospital - 94

• I feel completely free to express my views to my manager - 93

• My manager holds everyone in our department accountable for their work - 93

• My manager keeps me informed of the progress of my performance - 91
