KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Richard Wade, 32, of Kingman Saturday morning on suspicion of felony aggravated DUI, along with misdemeanor DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over. 08 percent and extreme DUI with a BAC over .15 percent. At 1:55 a.m., deputies stopped Wade's vehicle on Western Avenue near Sycamore Avenue. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Wade. Wade allegedly told deputies that he had consumed two pitchers of beer. A records check showed Wade to have a suspended driver's license. After a field sobriety test, Wade was taken to the Sheriff's Office where a blood analysis revealed his BAC to be .193 percent.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Chris Lee Erdelez, 35, of Kingman Monday morning on suspicion of felony aggravated assault per domestic violence. At 1:18 a.m., deputies responded to an assault call in the 2200 block of Ames Avenue. A 29-year-old man told deputies that Erdelez became upset with him because he would not give him a cigarette. Erdelez then struck the man in the face about three times. Deputies observed that the man had two small lacerations and a possible broken nose. Erdelez told deputies that the two men were yelling at each other and he thought the other man was going to strike him, so he slapped him in the face. Erdelez was taken into custody and booked into the county jail.
