Clean-up is Saturday
KINGMAN - The joint Roving Dumpster and Household Hazardous Waste Clean-up is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mohave County Fairgrounds.
Bagged household trash, yard debris, mattresses and tires without rims will be accepted. Yard waste from landscaping businesses will not be accepted.
The disposal of items is open to all residents of the county. This Clean City Commission event is held with the assistance of the Kingman Police and Fire departments and Mohave County.
Docs seek donations
KINGMAN - The Pink Ribbon Yard Sale breast cancer walk fundraiser is from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Cerbat Cliffs Animal Hospital, 4110 Stockton Hill Road.
Dr. Paula Acer and Dr. Robin Paterson are participating in the Breast Cancer 3-Day, 60-mile walk and must raise $2,200 each in donations before the Nov. 21-23 event in San Diego.
All funds benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.
Yard sale donations are needed and can be dropped of at the animal hospital today.

Diabetes expo Saturday
KINGMAN - The 3rd Annual Diabetes Expo, sponsored by Kingman Regional Medical Center, is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in KRMC's Wellness Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Screenings and information to enhance the health and well-being of diabetics will be offered.
