Education goals for year eyed
Transportation, bond expenditures also on the table Tuesday

KINGMAN - The Kingman Unified School District Governing Board will discuss the educational goals for the district this year.

The 2008-2009 academic year goals is one of 17 items on the agenda for the board at their meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the KUSD Office, 3033 MacDonald Ave.

Superintendent Roger Jacks will also present a report on the transportation department. Director of Construction Oz Enderby will also give an update on bond expenditures and projects.

Budget Director Wanda Hubbard will expound upon the final estimate of the 2009 fiscal year revenue. Assistant superintendents Betsy Parker and Wanda Oden will present their reports.

The board will have a first reading of a change in policy on student dress and admission of foreign exchange students.

The meeting won't be solely discussion and reading. The board could approve the site layout for the new middle school, located at the intersection of Airway Avenue and Prospector Street.
