DOLAN SPRINGS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Carter Clark, 49 of Dolan Springs Wednesday morning on suspicion of felony failure to register as a sex offender and sex offender failure to carry/obtain identification, along with misdemeanor disorderly conduct per domestic violence, threatening per domestic violence and criminal damage per domestic violence. Tuesday evening, deputies responded to a call in the 15700 block of Jasper Drive and contacted a 51-year-old woman. The woman reported that Clark had threatened her life and broken the rear entrance door by kicking it. She told deputies that Clark then left on foot. A witness confirmed the woman's story. At 9:15 a.m., deputies located Clark at a residence in the 15600 block of Jasper Drive. He was taken into custody. A records check showed Clark was not in compliance with his sex-offender registration requirements. Clark told deputies that he and the woman had been drinking on Tuesday and had gotten into an argument. He said he did not threaten the woman, but there were parts of the night that he did not remember due to him drinking. He was booked into the county jail.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested Jon. H. Pethers, 49, of Kingman Thursday on suspicion of felony aggravated assault/ domestic violence and a warrant out of La Paz County. Officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 2600 bock of Chicago Avenue. Officers learned that Pethers had punched another man mulitiple times, causing a laceration and a broken nose to the victim. Pethers was found to have a warrant out of La Paz County. He was booked into the county jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brian Lee Stites, 44, of Kingman on Sept. 17 on a probation violation warrant issued by Maricopa Superior Court and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license. At 2 p.m., deputies stopped Stites' vehicle in the 2000 block of Hearne Avenue. A records check showed Stites to have an outstanding warrant and a suspended license. He was taken into custody and booked into the county jail.
