St. Mary Roman Catholic Church

This weekend, April 4-5th, St. Mary Roman Catholic Church will celebrate Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. The weekend Mass schedule is as follows:

Saturday, April 4th   :

8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  Reconciliation

4:00 p.m. Vigil Mass - Dolan Springs

6:00 p.m. Vigil Mass - Kingman

Sunday, April 5th:

8:00 a.m. Mass - Kingman

10:30 a.m. Mass - Kingman

5:00 p.m. Misa en español - Kingman

Donations of canned and nonperishable food items will be collected this weekend, at all Masses.  The collected food will be distributed by the Saint Vincent de Paul to those in need.  Your generosity is appreciated!

There will be NO morning Mass at St. Mary Church on Monday and Tuesday, April 6 - 7th , as Father Matthew will be in Phoenix to celebrate the Chrism Mass with Bishop Olmsted and his fellow priests of the Diocese. There will also be NO morning Mass on Thursday and Friday, April 9-10th ,  due to Holy Thursday/Good Friday.  There WILL BE daily Mass at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8th, at the Church.

The Holy Week/Easter schedule for the parish follows. All liturgy will be held at St. Mary Church in Kingman, EXCEPT those specified at Our Lady of the Desert Mission in Dolan Springs.

Holy Thursday, April 9th :

Mass of the Lord's Supper 6:00 p.m.

Good Friday, April 10th :

Passion and Death of Our Lord 3:00 p.m.

Divine Mercy Novena after 3:00 p.m. liturgy

NOTE:  NO daily Mass at 8 a.m. ON 4-9-09 AND 4-10-09.

Holy Saturday, April 11th:

Confessions  (English and Spanish)  8:a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Blessing of Paschal Food 9:30 a.m.

Divine Mercy Novena 4:00 p.m.

Paschal Vigil Mass 8:00 p.m.

Paschal Feast of the Lord's Resurrection, April 12th:

Paschal Mass 8:00 a.m.

Paschal Mass 10:30 a.m.

Paschal Mass 5:00 p.m.

(Misa en español a 5:00 p.m.)

Our Lady of the Desert Misión in Dolan Springs:  10:00 a.m. (4-12-09)

The Divine Mercy Novena will be recited at St. Mary Church beginning Good Friday (4-10) at 4 p.m.; The Novena will be recited at 3 p.m. the second day of the Novena, Holy Saturday. The balance of the Novena will be recited at 3 p.m. daily, including Paschal Sunday (4-12). The final day of the Novena will be Sunday, April 19th,  Divine Mercy Sunday. If you cannot attend at the Church, please join us in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet from whatever your location. For information on reciting this devotion, please call the Parish Office.
