KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested John Jarvis, 30, of Kingman March 31 on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor domestic violence/disorderly conduct. At 8:30 p.m., officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Beverly Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers contacted Jarvis as he was walking away from the area. Jarvis allegedly reached into his pocket and threw a baggie of marijuana to the ground. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail. Jarvis also had five misdemeanor warrants for his arrest on assorted charges.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested Frankie Tapia, 50, of Kingman Thursday on suspicion of felony possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. At 12:30 a.m., officers stopped Tapia as he was riding his bicycle against traffic with no lighting equipment in the 1900 block of Golden Gate Avenue. Tapia was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Carolyn Bess Major, 38, of Meadview Saturday evening on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor trespassing. At 6:40 p.m., deputies responded to a trespasser in the area of the 2300 block of John L Avenue. Deputies were advised of a description of a female subject wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. As deputies approached the area, they observed a female walking in a wash that matched the description. Deputies contacted the subject identified as Major. She said she was cutting through yards on her way to her mother's house. She admitted to having to jump fences to gain access into the yards. Deputies questioned Major about having anything illegal in her possession. While Major was emptying her pockets, deputies observed a glass pipe. Major was taken into custody without incident. A search of Major revealed a metal pipe with residue. Deputies responded to the reporting party's residence. The reporting party said an unknown female entered his yard. Major was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Walter James Skillman, 52, of Kingman Saturday evening on suspicion of felony aggravated assault per domestic violence. At 7:12 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 4200 block of North Glen Road and contacted a 56-year-old woman. The woman reported that she and Skillman, her boyfriend, were involved in a verbal altercation. The woman said she went inside the residence and locked Skillman outside to avoid further confrontation. The woman further reported that Skillman broke the front window, climbed through and threatened her with a kitchen knife. The woman said Skillman placed the tip of the blade from the knife under her chin and threatened her. She also said that Skillman struck the couch with the knife. Deputies observed a cut an inch in length on the couch. They contacted Skillman and took him into custody. The knife was confiscated.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Eve Marie Cragen, 48, of Kingman Saturday evening on a felony warrant for theft and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear both issued by Kingman Justice Court. At 10:20 p.m., deputies contacted Cragen at a residence in the 2900 block of Carver Avenue in an unrelated case. A records check showed Cragen to have outstanding warrants. She was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Miguel Angel Gembe, 31, of Kingman Monday afternoon on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia. At 3:33 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 3600 block of Diagonal Way. Deputies were advised that a subject with a knife was at the residence. Upon arrival, deputies detained Gembe. A search of Gembe revealed a pipe with burnt residue. Gembe was booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
DOLAN SPRINGS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Billy Joe Lowman, 33, of Dolan Springs Saturday afternoon on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued out of Las Vegas Police Department and a felony governor's warrant issued out of Nevada. At 3:41 p.m., deputies contacted Lowman at a business located on Highway 93 at milepost 40 regarding his outstanding warrants. Lowman was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
