Reward increased in stabbing death
Police have no suspects in murder

KINGMAN - The reward for information in the death of an 85-year-old Kingman man has been increased from $1,000 to $2,500.

Autopsy results are still pending for Robert Egar Buss, who was found unresponsive lying on the living room floor of his home in the 4500 block of Vernetti Lane around 1:45 p.m. Nov. 18.

Buss died of apparent stab wounds. He was originally from North Hollywood, Calif., and was a member of the Freemasons.

Louis Early lived next to Buss for more than 30 years and said he couldn't imagine anyone not liking Bob. "Of all the years I knew him, I don't know a bad thing about him," Early said.

Early said Buss was known for helping strangers and theorized that it could have been one of these drifters who killed him.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Mohave County Sheriff's Office at (928) 753-0753 or Silent Witness at (928) 753-1234.
