Carroll 'Buster' Gray
Carroll 'Buster' Gray, 83, of Dolan Springs died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009. Buster was born Jan. 12, 1926, in Brawley, Calif. He was the eldest of 10 children. His family moved to Las Vegas when he was in his teens.
Buster started his own family and roofing business in Henderson, Nev. In 1960, he moved his family to California and pursued his passion for deep-sea fishing.
After Buster retired, he moved to Dolan Springs.
He is survived by his son, Gary Gray of Tujunga, Calif.; and daughters, Joanna Rogers of Reseda, Calif., Edith Hunter of Williams and Laurie Young of Haymarket, Va.
Buster has seven grandchildren, Jesse, Sarah, Ryan, Jared, William, Latitia and Bethany; two great-grandchildren, Asella and Jayden; brothers, James, Charles, Edward and Jack; and sister, Cecilia Risi.
He will be interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix.
Dad left us all with memories to cherish and live by.
